Robert,
Just started reading your posts on HuffPo. Very glad to find you. I was a huge fan of your father’s due in part to his great knowledge of politics, his brilliant writing, and his birthplace. I seem to remember him being on talk shows back in the 1960′s and 70′s. He was always extremely provocative and enlightening.
I live in Columbus and have read a bit about your family’s history here and your grandfather’s career at Ohio State. As a young man and OSU grad back in the early 1980′s I was pleasantly surprised to find out that a well known political author and Kennedy confidant was born in Columbus.
Is Robert Emmet your ancestor? From Wikipedia, I know your mother’s maden name is Emmett. Just curious.
Keep up the wonderful work.
