My wife voted early today here in Alexandria. She waited about an hour and 45 minutes to cast her ballot.

It is not fair that Democrats who tend to dominate in urban areas are allowed to have almost 2 weeks of early voting. The suburbs and rural areas who tend to vote Republicans only have one day to vote, thus imagine if there was bad weather or the like on that one day.
Another uninformed (likely) Republican voter!
Helen, hate to break the news to you so late in the game, but in-person absentee (or early) voting was available to all Virginians. From the State Board of Elections website: “Absentee voting in person begins approximately 45 days before a November General Election and approximately 30 days before other elections and ends on the Saturday before the election.”
So, ummmmm, now you know. . . for future reference and whatnot. Although, having said that, I’m not sure you should be voting.
