TIME magazine notes that the Obama campaign has set up a web based clearinghouse to combat the many internet rumors being spread by its foes.
There is a fine dissection of just how the Michelle-Whitey smear got started, and then nudged into circulation in the media. But best of all is the section combating the Obama-Is-A-Muslim smear.
The Obama campaign has found a classic photograph of the senator, surrounded by his wife and daughters, taking the Oath of Office on the family Bible – not the Koran – with a grinning VP Dick Cheney, the president of the Senate, presiding.
If the Obamanians don’t plaster the South and MIdwest with this photo, they’re nuts.
