A D.C.-paid soccer stadium: No, no, a thousand times no

By Robert Schlesinger

Jack: Where are you on the question of a D.C.-paid soccer stadium?

I think it’s a laughably bad idea (though judging from the comments, my compatriots are communistical, anti-Americans).

  1. Sara

See now this just seems to be a prejudice against soccer…
Soccer is a great sport with a worldwide following and US soccer athletes can only gain prestige by increasing their image in the US.

“Sara” above is clearly a Communist.

Liking soccer is not communist. Soccer, or more correctly football, is the most popular sport in the world and one of the few sports that actually holds a true worldwide championship. There is glory in it. I would submit that this “rschles” is an isolationist fascist if he wants to assume that soccer is so bad.

“Isolationist fascist,” eh? That sounds suspiciously like the kind of slander that is the bread-and-butter of a Communist sleeper agent.

    Is it “Sara” or “Svetlana?”
