Curt Smith, a Bush 41 speechwriter-turned-columnist/professor/radio commentator has a wonderful column about White House Ghosts, including this line which would have caused me to snort out my coffee were I (a) a coffee drinker and (b) drinking coffee:
In a sense, White House Ghosts is the un-Bush 43: objective, bright, and honest.
Wow. Keep in mind again that Curt wrote speeches for — and adores — the first President Bush. Great line though.
