Barack Obama needs to flip the story-line.
Hillary Clinton’s campaign has successfully framed the Democratic primary theme as, in part, “Why can’t he put her away?’
The question being more specifically, “Why couldn’t he beat her in a state where she was heavily favored?”
He needs to turn the question around, in North Carolina: If she’s so ultimately unstoppable, why can’t she close the deal and complete the come-back? Or put another way: Why can’t she win in a state where he’s heavily favored?
Then he needs to win North Carolina. And Indiana. (Though of course the Clinton line will be predictable: Neither state is going to go blue in November, so really, they shouldn’t count.)
