By Robert Schlesinger
The bloviators are speculating whether Hillary Clinton’s margin of victory is “big enough.” It is, because it exists.
Here’s where the talking heads go wrong: They are trying to measure Mrs. Clinton’s win in terms of her catching Obama — if she scores a big enough victory tonight, it could vault her to a win in Indiana, and so on. But because she can’t win they’re using the wrong metrics.
At this point, Hillary’s only hope to get to the nomination is an affirmative Obama collapse, and his merely losing primaries is not enough — he needs to commit irreparable blunders (burning lapel flag pins with Jeremiah Wright — or more rightly a video of the Illinois senator sitting in the audience while Wright spews an anti-American tirade). So her bar for success is merely survival: She needs to survive long enough for Obama to make the big mistake.
So what she needed in Pennsylvania was nothing more than a pass to North Carolina and Indiana — two weeks’ respite to wait for an Obama-immolation.

I agree with Robert Schlesinger! The only thing I’m afraid of is that the Democratic party will loose in the end because of the dirty politics. The fighting is CRAZY! I’m am really tired of the dirty politics! We need a Change, and I believe WE CAN, YES WE CAN!
God HELP us all!

This thesis is half right: Clinton can only win through a BO collapse, but she needed to win by a sufficient margin so raise money to continue to stay in the race (at least five percent) – if she didn’t, she would have been forced out by debt – inability to pay for media and events, even staff.

Hillary destroying Obama will ensure that the black vote won’t turn up for her.
