I’ve spent a lot of quality time on the phone over the last couple of weeks with the “technical support” crowd at my Internet Service Provider (or perhaps more accurately: Internet Service “Provider”). It reached a new level of madness Monday when, on hold, again, I got the following automated message. Take a listen — it’s good for a chuckle (if you’re not the one on hold).
I did some quick calculations. That’s 833,755,004+ hours … or 34,739,791+ days … or 4,962,827+ weeks … or 95,438+ years. I’m pretty sure that my cordless phone battery can’t last that long.
The name of the company in question will remain nameless (for now anyway) because, really, this would be a surprise coming from no “technical support” line these days.
OMG that is funny…
I guess they are walking you support request to India, which will take some time, please hold.

I am guessing…..Sprint
